Is it smart if your a newby to bet on Football and basketball games, or am I just throwing money away. I know a lot about betting I just want other experiences
if your new – well it depends on what you know – how much you work – how big your ego is compared to your wallet, and brain!
Certain people depending what you consider your expertise can be good at one sport – its hard enough to be a consistent winner at ONE sport. its very naive to be a beginner and expect to be equally good in BOTH football and basketball or any combination of sports.
***at least initially, if you have been gambling for years its possible to pick your spots at several sports, but its still unrealistic for most people handicapping to expect to be equally GOOD in multiple sports!
generally speaking NFL has the sharpest lines – college football and basketball are considered easier because there is so many games – its impossible for oddsmakers to make sharp lines on all the amount of games.
If you like college sports one thing for beginners to do is focus on one or two conferences learn all the teams and focus on those games, thats ONE way to get an edge!
Bottom line you are throwing your money away if you think its easy, unless you have some innate talent at picking winners.
If you have the drive, work ethic combination of money, brains, discipline its possible to make money as a handicapper

Well, if you put money that you are not scared to lose, then it will be easier for you, dont expect to win, but if you win it will be a good experience, just dont put much, if you cant take to lose.
