few years back….the Cleveland Browns were playing the Chiefs (I think)
The Chiefs had the ball with just seconds remaining.
They ran a play and as the ball was moving down field, THIS PLAYER took off his helmet and threw it to the ground.
Little did he know that such an act was illegal and resulted in the Chiefs getting to kick the game winning field goal with no time left on the clock.
Hopefully I didn't get any of the little details wrong.
I just thought we needed a break from "what is that little green dot?" type questions

I remember that game. I think the NFL is getting more annal every year.

i remember watching that game. it was rudd. they got to re-kick the winning field goal. that was bs! oh well, we (the browns) know how to blow a game. earlier that year, we almost beat the colts also. 14-9 i think. were not as bad as everyone thinks, but it looks that way on paper.
